1. What the app does

Scam Message Checker helps users review suspicious texts, emails, and links before they reply, click, or pay. The app is designed as a local-first utility and does not require account creation.

2. Information we collect

We do not intentionally collect personal account information such as your name, email address, or phone number through the app itself.

User-entered message review history is stored locally on the device so the app can show recent results. This local data is not uploaded to ClearNets servers by the current version of the app.

3. Advertising and purchases

The app may display banner advertisements through AdMob. AdMob or related advertising partners may process device or usage data under their own policies in order to serve and measure ads.

The app also offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove ads. Store transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by ClearNets directly.

4. Data sharing

ClearNets does not sell local review history or other user-entered content. We may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Google, and AdMob to operate app distribution, billing, and advertising.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through a ClearNets app, contact us and we will review the issue.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page.
